How does a magnifying glass work

A magnifying glass is simply a convex lens meant to be held up to an object to see it magnified. This shape bends the light waves of objects viewed through it, causing us to see them in unusual ways. When you hold a magnifying glass close to an object, its light waves are widened before they are focused on your eyes, causing the object to appear very large. But when you hold a magnifying glass out and view a distant object with it, the item appears smaller and upside down. This effect is due to the image being beyond the focus of the lens. The more curved a convex lens is, the greater its ability to bend light and magnify.

Physics Graded Assignment ( Register No. 27 )

Q1)How many images would you get for an object that is place between two mirror's placed at an angle less than 90 degrees?
Answer: There will be a minimum of 2 images. The smaller the angle, the more images is produced.
Q2)What happen to image if the angle is more than 90 degrees?
Answer:When the angle is more than 90 degrees, there will be less than 2 image shown on the mirror. However, we can see different views of the object.
Q3)How do mirrors produce funny images?
Answer:Different kind of mirrors produces different kind of images.Convex mirror makes object look closer as it reflects light out. Certain mirrors are created in a way that it is bent in different angles and when light is reflected on them, it will be reflect the light in different direction, causing the image shown to be different in shapes and sizes of the original object.

Invention of explosives

An explosive is a substance or a device that produces a volume of rapidly expanding gas that exerts sudden pressure on its surroundings. It is unknown who invented the first explosive black powder. Black powder also known as gunpowder is a mixture of saltpeter (potassium nitrate), sulfur, and charcoal (carbon). It originated in China around the tenth century and was used in fireworks and signals. Black powder is the oldest form of a ballistic propellant and it was used with early muzzle-type firearms. Being a mechanical explosive that is messy, black powder was eventually replaced by cleaner smokeless powder explosives. Here are the examples of different people who discovered different types of explosives:Nitrocellulose
In 1846, Chemist Christian Schonbein discovered nitrocellulose or guncotton when he accidently spilled an acid mixture on a cotton apron and the apron exploded.
TNT
In 1863, TNT or Trinitrotoluene was invented by German chemist Joseph Wilbrand. It is considered a high explosive.
