Discovery of DNA
DNA was first noticed by a Swiss physician Friedrich Miescher. He discovered a microscopic substance in the pus of discarded surgical surgical bandages in 1869.
Deoxyribonucleic acid known as DNA. DNA molecules is the longterm storage of information. Genes are the DNA segments that carry genetic information.
Chemically, DNA consist of two long polymers of simple units, nucleotides and phosphate. Within cells DNA is organized into chromosomes.
I think is very fascinating to know how DNA contains our genes and it can help people to identify who are their real parents.
