The design of the dam turned out to be a failure because there are no support for the dam, as it is a vertical straight wall. Thus, the energy of the currents will easily break the lower part of the dam as the lower part has more energy. The design for my dam is much better as the lower part of the dam is thicker, thus the dam will be able to hold on the energy of the water.
